This TwinTuesday is, again, kind of sponsored by my blog's sponsor Uprinting.com! :-) Still working on securing a couple of sponsors (actually have a bunch in the works... just still trying to get details worked out!)
|
However, I have a couple of giveaways going on, just as part of my main blog...
250 Free Business Cards
250 Free Custom Stickers/Labels
There are of course the usual ways to enter (and you do still need to fulfill the mandatory entry on those giveaway posts), but here are some ways to earn extra entries as a TwinTuesday participant! :-)
1) Follow @TwinHappyJen and @Uprinting and tweet the following:
This #TwinTuesday, @TwinHappyJen is giving away free business cards & stickers from @Uprinting! Details @ http://bit.ly/twintweet
|
2) Become a fan of TwinHappy and Uprinting on Facebook & post the following to your profile:
This TwinTuesday, @TwinHappy is giving away free business cards & stickers from @Uprinting! Details @ http://bit.ly/twintweet
Note: When copy-pasting this into your status, you might have to go back and manually type the TwinHappy and Uprinting tags for them to actually link through. The one for TwinHappy in particular needs to go through, so it will show up on the TwinHappy Wall (and I can count it as an entry)!
|
3) Blog about TwinTuesday, with a link to this page... post a link to your blog in the comments below.

Again, feel free to do as many (or as few) of these things as you'd like... for each of these things you do, it will count as an extra entry into both giveaways!
Now, here's the Question of the Week:
Do you dress your twins alike?
This is a question that I've asked before, but not for awhile, so I figured what the heck :-) My answer is... when I first found out I was having twins, I was determined to not dress them alike. Maybe coordinating, but not exactly alike. After awhile, I started dressing them alike quite often, if for no other reason than, it was easier :-p Both shopping-wise (just grabbing two of an outfit that you like is easier than trying to find two different outfits that at least sort of go together)... and dressing-wise (again, just easier to grab two of the same). Plus, I think you can get kind of caught up in the whole twin-fame thing :-p However, now they're very rarely dressed exactly alike. I do have a tendency to try and coordinate them, but at this point, if their clothes are clean and season/activity-appropriate (or if I can get them to wear clothes at all), I'm happy :-p

So, what's your experience/philosophy on dressing alike? Please feel free to answer on Twitter (using the #TwinTuesday hashtag), on TwinHappy's Facebook page, or even by simply responding to this post!

I never intended to dress my twin girls exactly the same but, for various reason, I fell into the habit of doing so most days! As babies, they were often in different oufits, but that had more to do with soiled clothes than any conscious decision. Now, they are five years old and still dress alike most days. They are more than happy to dress the same, but will personalise their outfits with completely different accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me some inspiration for my own blog post. I intend to blog about this subject and link back to this Twin Tuesday post.
